Mineral Magnet Technology

All drinking potable and non-potable waters contain the ions of ferric and non-ferrous iron oxides, as well as calcium and magnesium sulfates and carbonates (Minerals in the Water). These are in solution and consist of positive ions of iron, magnesium and calcium, as well as negatively charged ions of carbonate, sulfate and oxides. The positively charged and negatively charged ions attract each other forming molecules that stick together. These molecules sticking together form a salt which plates out as a discoloration and hard crusty-like material. We normally refer to this as “stain” and “scale”.

When this water is exposed to the magnetic field created by the two Mineral Magnets in the ChemFree Cleaner there is an effect in the outer ring of each atom of the Minerals in the Water. This effect changes the valance of the atoms of the Minerals in the Water. This change of valance makes the atoms repel each other preventing the binding of atoms into molecules, hence preventing the forming of a salt, “stains” and “scale”. A small percentage of the atoms will still convert into molecules, but since the outer ring has been modified they would tend to remain soft, and not convert into a “stain” or “scale” or stick to surfaces. Inside a toilet tank and toilet bowl these modified atoms and molecules remain in suspension in the water and instead of sticking to the side of the toilet bowl they get flushed out with every flush.

It is a well known fact that two magnets placed at a certain distance of each other produce a magnetic field which lasts for hundreds of years without any appreciable loss of strength. The effect of these magnets will last well over 100 years, with a decrease in effectiveness of approximately 1% after on hundred years. These observations have been made over the past thirty years and have included extended discussions with Dr. Henry Seligman and Dr. Kenneth Beswick, respectively Director and Deputy Director of the United Nations Nuclear Energy Laboratories in Vienna (1992) who were the two leading physicists in the world at that time. This magnet technology in water anti-scaling systems has been proven in heavy industry, and has been used for many decades. The system used is one consisting of permanent magnets mounted inside huge water and other liquid tanks, and around the inlet water pipes to exchangers in hydroelectric plants to prevent scaling. These magnets, used for decades, have not shown any indications of diminishing effectiveness or power. Where these systems are installed no scaling occurs in the inner plumbing tubes, or in the walls of the tanks, so that these thanks must be cleaned only once every ten years. Other exchangers not using the magnets must be cleaned every 6 months.

Bactobane^TM

The ChemFree Toilet bowl cleaner has been researched extensively for both its effectiveness at keeping your toilet clean and as an antimicrobial in the tank. There are no chemicals released from the product. As the water flows over the surface of the plastic housing the antimicrobial effect takes place. It is not a chemical reaction that kills the bacteria, but a mechanical one.

Bactobane^TM additives are special agents that are incorporated into the raw plastic before it is molded or extruded into the final products. It is also added to fiber before it is converted to yarn. Many products can be manufactured incorporating BactobaneTM in their material. With Bactobane^TM in these products bacteria cannot survive or reproduce in the surface of the product. The surface of these products will be bacteria free. Examples of these products are: cafeteria trays, cutting boards, refrigerator plastic boxes for food preservation, door knobs, etc.

Yarn incorporating Bactobane^TM can be converted into clothes for hospital gowns, doctor's masks, t-shirts, etc. which will also be bacteria free, and eliminate the sweat odor and contamination present in hospitals.

When the ChemFree Toilet Bowl Cleaner housing is manufactured, the active agent of the Bactobane^TM remains on the surface of the item at all times. This tiny amount of BactobaneTM that remains in the surface is significant because it is what kills bacteria that produce odor, mold and fungus.

Bactobane^TM is NOT a toxin, but rather a sub-micron sized cell wall penetrant that disrupts the metabolic function of thin walled microorganisms. The thick walled cells of red blooded animals and humans remain unaffected. Nothing ever leaves the ChemFree cleaner. It affects any bacteria as the water flows over the device.

The additive does not wear out, nor is it transferred to any surface it touches, remaining as part of the whole body of the plastic housing throughout the life of the product, killing pathogens that come in contact with the housing. It will last many years because its action is mechanical, NOT chemical. Consequently, it never wears out unless the product is destroyed.

The Company research explains it this way. Imagine a counter top with thousands of microscopic thumb tacks. The thick walled cells of the higher organic world of animals, insects, etc. will remain unaffected when in contact with these "microscopic thumb tacks". On the other hand the thin walled microorganisms (bacteria) will be metabolically disrupted when they come in contact with the sub-micron penetration of the point of the "microscopic thumb tack like" effect that represents Bactobane^TM.
