Special Shipping Offers

Here is our obligatory disclaimer for the $4.99 shipping offer.

We all like to get a break on shipping costs, so occasionally we provide our customers special shipping offers like the one we currently have for $4.99.  This is a flat-rate, so whether you spend $20 or $20,000, we will ship it to you for $4.99. 

But, we do have to put some restrictions on this (though not many). First, this offer could end at any time and is for orders placed online only. Telephone orders will incur the standard shipping rates.  Second, some items, mostly really heavy ones like reel mowers, outdoor composters and LED Christmas trees and wreaths, require special handling and consequently can not be covered with the $4.99 shipping offer. But pretty much everything else applies unless you want expedited shipping.

Also, for orders going to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada, or other destinations outside of the contiguous 48 states, certain additional charges will apply. These are not calculated automatically and when applicable you will receive a phone call from us requesting your credit card information to bill the additional charges. They are not much, just enough to cover the extra cost of shipping to those areas, without any markup. 

And, of course, this offer can not be applied to previous purchases and is valid until we decide to change it.  That wasn't too bad, was it?.
